If my latest submission to this site is anything to go by, I'm branching out into new creative territory.

Well, sort of.

I've been teaching myself how to use the 3D modeling/animation program Blender over the past several days. My reasoning being that the 3D animation class I took over a year or so ago in school has probably been my favorite class I've taken in anything so far, and I never got around to learning this program like I planned to do shortly after finishing that class.

Well, I'm sitting here currently not in school, and I can't manage to draw anything to save my life at the moment, so I figured I might as well teach myself something I know I enjoyed in the past. I've been working on getting down the basics of the program over these past couple of days, and that jeep is what I have to show for it. Well, I also have some other basic stuff I've done as part of tutorials, but I dunno if I'm gonna bother uploading that stuff here. Probably gonna wait until I do more stuff on my own.

So expect to see more 3D stuff from me in the future, as well as more regular drawing (as soon as I get over this damn block ).

And, this journal title is totally a reference to the song of the same off Man Must Die's No Tolerance for Imperfection album. Which is awesome.

No, I can't keep metal out of every aspect of my life.
