Description
Man, now that's what I call hot... 20,000 round ammo capacity... 10,000 rounds a minute firing rate... Recoilless quick-revolving barrels... 40mm plasmite grenade launcher built in...
...
Of course I'm talking about the minigun! Does Ashelin look like she can fire off 10,000 50mm armor piercing bullets in a minute? I think not! I swear, people these days... Sheesh...
...
If Ratchet and Clank can get away with using double entendre in titles, then so can I!!
Oh my god, it's finally done!!! Remember this [link] that I submitted over a month ago? Well, this is what finally became of the creepy-eyed Ashelin that wanted to eat your soul. Now she's got a monster gun and probably just wants to shoot you. Soul-eating is overrated anyways...
Man, I am so happy that I finally finished this thing. It's taken me the better part of the last month to do (what with school and all getting in the way ), but I have to say that I am very pleased with the results.
Tried some new stuff on this piece, most importantly the addition of a light source from somewhere off the piece. Thus leading to the reflected areas on her belt, her shoulder plate, and in her eyes. Not only are there reflected areas, but I also did a little bit of shading on Ashelin herself. Yes, Nano did shading! It's not a lot, mostly running down the side of her waist and her leg, but hey, better to start off with little bits at a time, eh? It's about time I started messing around with that kind of stuff...
And behold! My crappy camouflage background! Don't try to argue, it's pretty crappy looking. It seemed like a good idea at first, but as I started drawing it out my brain kinda decided "Hm... This kinda looks like crap... Or well, we already started it, so we might as well finish!" I suppose it could be worse, though... But at least it fits the theme of the whole piece. But still, after starting that and then seeing a real camo pattern on something, this really doesn't look all that great...
Yes, I know her ear is a little high on her head. No, I don't care. If you point this out to me, that will prove that you didn't read these comments here.
So anyways, I'm finally finished with this, and ready to move on to other things. Comments are welcome, and any feedback is greatly appreciated!
Bet you can't tell where I put white-out on this thing and had to touch it up a little to make it look all nice. Thank you Photoshop.
...
Oh, bonus points if you know what the Precursor text says without using some sort of translator.
Okay, I'm done now...
