If you ever manage to get Nicole this pissed at you, you're probably better off just pulling your gun out and shooting yourself. You'll be dead either way, but at least if you kill yourself you won't be conscious for when she blows off your lower legs with that .50 cal handgun and then takes that knife sheathed in her boot and turns you into an unrecognizable mess of blood, meat, and bones.

That being said, you'd have to do something really bad to Nicole to get her this pissed at you. Something along the lines of killing her brother after she's discovered that he's still alive and they've been reunited with each other. Yeah, doing that is pretty much a guarantee that you and any of your underlings/associates will be slaughtered mercilessly by her hand. Have a nice death.

So anyways, been working on this in bits and pieces for the past several weeks, and I've finally managed to finish the damn thing. This is the hands-down largest picture I've done to date, with the PSD file rounding out at 99.5 MB and sporting dimensions of 25" wide by 30" tall. Why I decided to do something of that size in the first place, I'll never know. All I know is that it'll be a looooooooooong time before I ever try it again (considering how many times it tried to kill Photoshop on me during work).

So yes, very very angry Nicole. Fun fact: when I started this picture, this was not what it was intended to come out looking like. No, originally this was just going to be a picture of her looking generically badass. There wasn't going to be anywhere near as much blood, just some from various injuries on her (see if you can find those now ), and I don't think there were going to be random limbs of dead people on the ground. Hell, originally she was supposed to be grinning. But then I decided that the angry snarl looked better than the grin, and suddenly the entire mood of the piece changed from confident badassery to murderous rage. And then, well, you can see what happened...

Fun fact #2: The title of this piece changed about a dozen different times during working on it as I thought of different songs that would fit for it. I think I started with "Armed and Dangerous" by Anthrax initially, then settled on "Fearless" by Hypocrisy for a while before the mood shift. After that "Payback" by Slayer and "Amok Run" by Kreator stuck out among the options, but in the end I went with "Never Again" by Killswitch Engage, since the lyrics (see above) were spot on for the overall mood I wanted it to convey.

Let's see, what else can I ramble about... that stitched scar across her stomach is from this little incident, although I've shifted it to the other side of her body in order to have had it damage her liver and force her to stop drinking for a while afterwards. In fact, see that rifle strapped to her back? That's the very same kind of weapon that put the hole in her in the first place. And now she's sporting a rail driver of her very own, complete with a bloody stock indicative of at least three heads smashed into a bloody pulp Platoon-style. And her mechanical hand is significantly more bloody because she's used it to literally tear off at least one face on this rampage. How did she do that? By jamming her fingers through someone's eye sockets and her thumb into their mouth, then clenching them into a fist and crushing through the skill in the process, and then removing said fist from the rest of said skull. Viola! One removed face.

What? It's a mechanical hand. If it can let her fire a handgun chambered for the equivalent of .50 BMG, it can let forcefully remove someone's face and part of their skull from the rest of their head.

I wonder if I spent maybe a little too much time figuring out how Nicole killed the people who's blood she's now covered in...?
